PDB Soccer Academy is offering fall soccer clinics for children ages 3 through 9.  The clinics take place on Saturday morning in the Water Park across from school.Ìý  Questions? Email: zef@pdbsoccer.com

Middle School students run in meets with the 51ÁÔÆæ Middle School Athletic Association. Fifth graders may train with the middle schoolers in order to prepare for next season. Practices take place in the water park from 3 pm until 4:15 pm.

There are three great raffle prizes that will be drawn at the outing on Monday, October 3.  You need not be there to win.  Print out the raffle tickets, complete them and send them in to the school office to support the children and for your chance to win!

Our Annual Golf Outing has been rescheduled to Monday, October 3, at the beautiful Wheatley Hills Golf Club. At the dinner we will be honoring Mr. Bob Martella! 

Plans are under way for our Fall Middle School Trip.  This year we will be returning to Boston on Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7.  All students in grades 6, 7 and 8 are invited to attend.  We also have room to take parent/guardian chaperones.  Chaperones must have attended a VIRTUS training session.  You can register online for upcoming sessions .Ìý

Students entering grades 5 through 8 in the fall may register for our Summer STEM Camp. They will have have the opportunity to participate in several labs. The Camp begins on Monday, August 1 and ends on Friday, August 5. The hours are from 9 AM until 12 Noon. Space is limited to 24 students.

Attached you will find information about the fine arts offerings that we have planned for the year. They include Art Club, Chorus, Dance, Drama Club, and Instrumental Music. There is something for students of all ages - from Nursery through grade 8.

One of our favorite celebrations of the year is the Feast of St. Francis. The actual Feast Day is October 4, but we will be celebrating on Monday, the 5th. At 1:30 PM, you are invited to bring your favorite family pet for the traditional Blessing of the Animals. In a related service project, the Early Childhood Classes are collecting treats, toys for dogs and cats, and gently used blankets, towels, and sheets.
