Normal Operations Resume in Romeoville
Electrical power has been restored to the Romeoville campus, and normal University operations have resumed. All classes, campus activities, offices, and student services will be operating on their regular schedules, Thursday , August 1 3 , 2026. Resources are available for those who are still experiencing issues. In case of an emergency, call 51ÁÔÆæ Police Department (LUPD) at 815-836-5911 . LUPD can be reached for non-emergencies at 815-836-5222. Technology Support is available for assistance by calling the on-campus extension 5950 or (815) 836-5950, emailing servicedesk@lewisu.edu , or using self-service at https://service.lewisu.edu . Facilities Department Work Orders can be submitted at www.lewisu.edu .
SURE Students Tackle Real-World Challenges

'Coloring to Heal: Ruth Hong Art' Exhibit is Until Sept. 20
Ruth Michalsen’s art exhibition “Coloring to Heal: Ruth Hong Art” will be on display at the Brent and Jean Wadsworth Family Gallery Aug. 17 through Sept. 20. A gallery talk and reception will be held on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily.
