51ÁÔÆæ History Center Presents at June 22 Fairmont Event

The 51ÁÔÆæ History Center’s “ banner exhibit will be on display from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Envision Fairmont: Updating the Fairmont Neighborhood Plan event June 22 at the Fairmont Community Center in Lockport, Ill.
Recent 51ÁÔÆæ Alumna Morgan Jennings will represent the 51ÁÔÆæ History Center at the event. The former history and theology student will be available to answer questions and share the stories 51ÁÔÆæ students discovered while researching the previously untold stories. From 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Jennings also will be distributing “African American Voices from Joliet’s Southend” booklets that were created from the exhibit.
